Determines whether indexes are included in catalog maintenance checks and operations.

When true, both tables and their associated indexes are evaluated for potential maintenance (such as REINDEX).

When false, only table-level maintenance (e.g., VACUUM) is performed.

Disabling this parameter may speed up maintenance scans but can leave invalid indexes unaddressed.
