Backup and Recovery ​

The Yellowbrick Data Warehouse architecture diagram shows the cloud storage that is used for an Azure deployment:

• Storage required by the CDWM control plane and its metadata
• Storage required for data loaded into the data warehouse and its system catalog

Data warehouses are protected by Yellowbrick database backups to Azure Blob storage (and other supported object stores). For details about running Yellowbrick backups and restoring databases with the ybbackup and ybrestore client tools, see the main product documentation.
