Configuring Network Routing

Using the AWS Console, follow these steps to configure network routing.

  1. From the Console Home page, go to Services > VPC (under Networking & Content Delivery).

  2. Under the Virtual Private Cloud section, go to Route Tables.

  3. Select the VPC (virtual private cloud) that is associated with the virtual private gateway that you selected previously, then go to the Routes tab.

  4. Click Edit > Add another route.

  5. Under Destination, enter the subnet information provided by Yellowbrick (10.32.0.0/16 in this example).

  6. Click Target. From the drop-down menu, select the same virtual private gateway that you selected earlier.

  1. Click Save.

When you have completed these steps, request the login information for the database from Yellowbrick, which you can use throughout your AWS Virtual Private Cloud environment.
