Connecting AWS to Yellowbrick

This section explains how to configure and connect an Amazon AWS Virtual Private Cloud to a Yellowbrick database over AWS Direct Connect. Any part of your AWS infrastructure can automatically connect to Yellowbrick over a secure and dedicated 10Gb link.

  1. To start the setup, provide your AWS account number to Yellowbrick so we can create and open a new private virtual interface for your account. We will set up the necessary network infrastructure.
  2. Receive a new virtual interface ID from Yellowbrick. When you have your ID, use the AWS Console to:
  3. Accept the network interface.
  4. Configure network routing.
  5. Request the login information for the database from Yellowbrick, which you can use throughout your AWS Virtual Private Cloud environment.
